E-commerce Operations Specialist, Project Accounts

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations through Techship, allowing customers to rate shop multiple carriers as well as generate and process daily shipments
- Provide in-depth technical assistance to customers when questions, concerns, or errors arise regarding Techship
- Use Techship to generate shipping documentation on behalf of customers
- Coordinating air and ground logistics for domestic and international Cannabis shipping
- Oversight of all E-commerce fulfillment operations across Canada
- Managing cold-chain logistics for perishable and temperature-sensitive cargo
- Maintaining and improving relationships with key clients and suppliers
- Training new employees on systems and operational processes
- Coordinate with different departments to achieve optimal work production as well as suggest and implement ideas to improve operational quality and efficiency
- Accountable for the successful integration of new accounts
- Monitor customer portals to ensure the highest level of customer service
- Accountable for meeting customer requirements to include cost-efficient, on-time, and accurate deliveries
- Assist with the global logistics activities required to support timely order delivery
- Develop and implement strategies to proactively improve and manage company’s rapid growth
- Responsible for the continued development, implementation, and documentation of best practices across the logistics organization
- Accountable for creating, tracking, and monitoring E-commerce Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accountable for analyzing and implement new software and procedures in the warehouse
- Accountable for standardizing procedures to eliminate shipping and receiving errors and delays
- Responsible for ensuring best practices are implemented across receiving, order picking, order packing, shipping, returns, inventory control, quality assurance, customer service, and operational flow
- Work closely with the Managing Director, Business Development Manager, and Operations Team on evaluating, coordinating, motivating, mentoring, training, and developing new business opportunities
- Manage and work with Business Development Manager to ensure efficiency, availability, and managing associated costs
- Real-time resolutions of in-transit issues
- Work closely with E-commerce warehouse team to ensure a smooth and optimal operation and achievement of performance requirements
- Control the operating expenses, performance, and quality of service provided by transportation partners
- Actively participate in the budget process and improvement projects that directly or indirectly affect its service
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow processes and implements changes to deliver expected results
- Ad hoc projects as they arise
Permanent employment: Full time 40 hours/week

Salary: $52,000.00 per year
